For 125 years, cinema has captured life and cultures around the world. Yet, only within the last few decades have filmmakers of Asian or Pacific Islander ancestry been able to break through barriers to direct major motion pictures. In this special free series, the Dryden Theatre presents a series of eight films directed by Asian/Pacific Americans that speak directly to their own experiences of storytelling, domestic life, and cross-cultural history.
